·       Commissioner Glass last day with be 31 September. The Kentucky Board of Education (KBE) meets on 21 August to discuss next steps.

·       Recent cyberscam attempt on KY K-12 districts and preventative next steps.

·       KY K-12 Cybersecurity annual health check due to be completed by reg no later than 31 August by all 171 districts and KDE the agency.

·       KY K-12 Data collection and data systems related topics (IC (aka KSIS), School Report Card and privacy).

·       Kentucky Education Technology System (KETS) as a funding priority in 2024 legislative session. The KY Board of Education (KBE) made KETS a funding priority on August 3^rd. Have created a one pager to be used in discussions with legislators regarding our $148M additional budget request (ABR).

·       School Year 2023-2024 KETS Operational Budget that was approved by the KY Board of Education (KBE) on August 3^rd.  School Facility Construction Committee (SFCC) meets Sept 6^th.  Once SFCC approves, the KETS financial offers of assistance to districts can begin.

·       2024-2030 KETS Master Plan for Education Technology that was approved by the KY K-12 Local Supt’s Advisory Committee (LSAC) on 25 July and on August 3^rd by the KY Board of Education (KBE) on August 3^{rd .}

·       Reg on leases over $100K approved by KBE on August 2^nd.

·       Status on recent KY K-12 technology enabled RFPs, contracts and implementations (Next Generation KY K-12 Internet (NGKI), KY K-12 Connected User Experience System (CUES), KY K-12 School Report Card (SRC), Professional Learning System).

·       KY K-12 Digital Readiness Survey (DRS) and Munis generated Technology Activity Report (TAR).

·       Other topics that OET staff and districts want to discuss.
