In this 6-hour online professional learning for teachers of Kindergarten through 5th grade, a wide variety of participants will share strategies and interventions been used in real classrooms across Kentucky. Participants explore strategies for implementing math interventions and deepen understanding of the importance of fidelity to math interventions. Participants will also explore the use of manipulatives to build early numeracy concepts and examine a variety of strategies and tools for building true understanding of early mathematical concepts. The professional learning will provide strategies based on meaning and properties of operations for teaching addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Learn new ways to provide support for students and parents at home and leave with strategies and new thinking for your classroom.
