P3 Webcast 1 – Living Calendar with Heather Warrell

Posted on 28. Sep, 2017 by in Uncategorized

In this episode, Heather Warrell from the Office of Learning and Technology joins Keith to discuss the construction of a Living Calendar using Google Docs. A Living Calendar is a calendar that is viewable and editable by all of the professionals on the team. The principal is not responsible for gathering the information for all athletic events, choral concerts, school plays, etc. Each sponsor can add their own events to the calendar and everyone can view the calendar in real time. It is a “one stop shop” for information about what is going on at the school. Heather shows the example of the Living Calendar that is currently in place at Thomas Nelson High School and then gives a tutorial of how to create a Living Calendar from scratch.
